Cutting Edge Biomolecular Science – the 2014 SFBBM Symposium
24-26 September, Marstrands Havshotell
The Swedish Society for Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology, founded in 1967, arranges one yearly symposium – this year situated in Marstrand on the Swedish West coast. The scope of the 2014 Symposium is to reflect the most important trends in biochemistry and biophysics today. The conference will include lectures from internationally renowned scientists, contributed lectures and poster sessions. Anyone interested in biochemistry, biophysics or cell-/molecular biology from universities, industry, society and laboratories are invited to participate. The conference has a special ambition also to become a stimulating meeting place for PhD students in the targeted fields especially from Sweden and Nordic countries. We hope to gather more than one hundred participants at the SFBBm Symposium 2014.
Scope: State of the art of Swedish research within biochemistry, biophysics and cell- and molecular biology.
Advances in general areas: Protein structures and enzymology; biophysical measurements; kinetics; immunology; thermodynamics.
Advances in application areas: Biotechnology; proteomics; metabolomics; bioinformatics; fluorescence; nuclear magentic resonance spectroscopy and crystallography; membrane proteins.
