Dear friends and colleagues,
As 2013 has begun, we would like to start the new year by informing you of some of the benefits you have as a member of our society – and also highlight some of the major events that will occur during this year. Attached, you will also find information from FEBS. The SFBBM Symposium for 2013 well be held on 2-4 October, in Marstrands Havshotell on the Swedish west-coast. The theme for the symposium is ”Cutting edge biomolecular science”. The symposium will contain lectures by both Svedberg- and Theorell laureates and will provide a good meeting spot for grad students, post-docs and PI’s from Sweden. Please save the date.

Svedberg and Theorell prizes
Nomination period for both Svedberg- and Theorell prizes start 22 February 2012. Nominations should be sent to the SFBBM secretary by e-mail ( firstname.lastname@example.org) or by regular mail to SFBBM, C/O Svenska Kemistsamfundet, Wallingatan 24 3tr, 111 24 Stockholm. You nomination should be sent in before 4 April 2012. Complete instructions for nominations will be announced on the website (sfbbm.se) and in Kemivärlden Biotech/Kemisk Tidsskrift.
